It’s that simple but we often forget to say it to our clients. I’m as guilty as anyone of forgetting.
When was the last time said thank you for being a client? I can’t remember the last time it happened to me because it was so long ago.
I do business with all sorts of people and companies any one of them could say thank you for being a client but they don’t. If they did they would stand out to me and also go to the very top if my mind for what they do.
We all like to be appreciated. So how could you say thank you to your clients? Perhaps a call, an email or even and old fashioned letter/note.
Also how about immediately after someone buys from you. This is the time when people can often doubt their purchase decision marketers call it cognitive dissonance.
Imagine instead if you got a thank you soon after buying and it was personal and reinforced why you had made a wise purchase decision. I’m prepared to virtually guarantee you will reward that business with your future business and refer them to other people.
So right now whilst you remember take 5 minutes to thank a client.
